There are five casinos in West Virginia, and four of them are open to the public.

The Casino Club at Greenbrier is a private casino in the southern part of the state. It is only open to registered hotel guests and club members. It has about 320 machines, 37 table games and a sportsbook. The resort has many amenities.

Mardi Gras Casino has about 1,000 slot and video poker machines, 20 live table games, a six-table poker room and a sportsbook.

Mountaineer Casino

Mountaineer Casino has about 1,000 slot and video poker machines, 32 live table games and a sportsbook.

April through December, the racetrack hosts thoroughbred horse races.

The property also has an 18-hole golf course, spa, five restaurants and 359 hotel rooms.

Wheeling Island

Wheeling Island

Wheeling Island has about 1,100 slot and video poker machines, 43 live table games, a nine-table poker room and a sportsbook.

The greyhound racetrack hosts races year-round.

The property also has five restaurants and 151 hotel rooms.
